In the late 1800s and early 1900s in the United States, many towns and cities could boast of having a brewery, at least until Prohibition and the advent of the national brands. The narrated video looks back on the many breweries and beers that no longer exist and the ones that still do from around the world.
This DVD includes interior views and an extensive section on Hamm's Beer, with the beers and breweries grouped by state, province and country. The 792 images come from postcards and photographs, and includes memorabilia items, such as bar displays, lamps, serving trays, advertising materials, playing cards, promotional glasses, coasters, bottles and cans.
The video concludes with a look at home brewing.
