Volume 1 is now out-of-print and now comes Volume 2. This title has a lot of text to accompany the photographs. Almost always a Four Ways West title includes a lot of text for additional information unlike other publisher's titles that are like a slide-show with captions.
This volume is mostly color photographs but many black-and-white photographs of steam and early diesel locomotives are also seen. This title isn't all ore trains as general freight and passenger service are also documented. There are many color photographs of Fairbanks-Morse locomotives, big ALCos along with maps, diagrams, statistics and an equipment color guide section make this title on a more remote region served by the former Chicago & Northwestern Railway a nice title.
