It is the objective of this book to present an overall view of operations and motive power of the Colorado & Southern - Southern Division. The final decade of steam operations is presented first, followed chronologically by diesel types. For the modeler there are illustrative views of various differences in paint schemes for both steam and diesel locomotives. There is also a chapter on C&S's leased locomotives as well as a salute to C&S's joint line partner, Santa Fe.
