Hundreds of thousands of visitors have ridden Cumbres & Toltec trains during its 35 years of operation. Shot between 1999 and 2006, the photographs in this book are what their experience looked like from trackside. Some of the pictures are from well beyond trackside, including a series of remarkable photographs shot from a jet helicopter at the height of the 2006 fall foliage season in the San Juan mountains.
