This all-color book is a photo history of Delaware & Hudson power in the 1970s and early 1980s. Many of the shots include scenes along the way rather than just a collection of 3/4 wedge loco shots.
The contents are organized by locomotive manufacturer with extensive captions to explain where the train is with operational notes known. All the D&H paint schemes are represented including the striking blue and silver, blue and yellow plus second-hand power in a variety of colors including Reading and Lehigh Valley. An index of photo locations is included.
