All of the spray-able Tru-Color paints dry to a glossy finish. The automotive colors dry to a very high-gloss finish to give vehicles that show room effect. These paints are too thin to be brush painted.
Tru-Color Paint is a solvent-based acrylic paint. The pigment is thinned with Acetone and other media. Ventilation is required when spraying it. Cleanup is achieved with inexpensive Acetone.
All colors that are not flat or matte, dry to a glossy finish that is ready for decal application. Primer should be used for metal and may be used for other materials including plastics.
Over time, because the paint is packaged in soft plastic bottles, some of the media (thinner) the pigment is suspended in may have evaporated. The pigment does not evaporate and can be 'brought back to life' with either Tru-Color's 'Rejuvenator' or Thinner.
