This book begins with photographs taken in the late 1950s and continue on into the 1980s. Most photographs are from the 1960s. Long Island's varied diesel roster in many paint schemes plus the MU cars will be familiar to Long Island residents. The last section of the book is a color guide with pictures of passenger cars, snow plows and a couple of tugboat scenes.
