Softcover, 176 pages, standard portrait format, B&W photographs and illustrations.
This is the 40th anniversary edition of the original edition originally published by Century One Press. Only the covers are printed in color. This edition is 176 pages and includes 16 pages of additional information and photographs.
The original edition was a hardbound book with poor typesetting. This edition is a softcover book with better typesetting. The paper is NOT high-quality glossy paper but average quality paper. The images are B&W as the line was abandoned in the 1950s and almost all photographers then were still using that media exclusively.
