The Milwaukee Road sampled products from almost all of the builders, was an early purchaser of the F-unit and rostered a large stable of them for freight and passenger service, found a favorite diesel in the form of the SD-40-2 and had the unique SDL-39 built for branchline service. The 181 images come from slides, photos, B&W negatives and postcards.
The presentation is like looking through a book on a computer. The CD-ROM works in PCs (WIN 2000/XP/Vista/10) and Macs and is self-starting. The images can be printed out.
