The Milwaukee Road's steam roster resembled its Midwest competitors, with the exception of high-speed steam power used in "Hiawatha" passenger service. Although a transcontinental line, because of electrification out west, the railroad only rostered a few Mallets which it used on branchlines in Idaho and Washington. The 278 images mainly come from medium-format 2x4 B&W negatives.
The presentation is like looking through a book on a computer. The CD-ROM works in PCs (WIN 2000/XP/Vista/10) and Macs and is self-starting. The images can be printed out.
