The presentation is like looking through a book on a computer. The CD-ROM works in PCs (WIN 2000/XP/Vista/10) and Macs and is self-starting. Photos can be printed out.
. Apart from the grades at the ends of its mainline, the M&StL was a fairly flat railroad and its roster reflected that. The presentation shows all the types of steam locomotives the M&StL operated: 0-6-0 switchers, 2-6-0 Moguls, 2-8-0 Consolidations, 2-8-2 Mikados (including rebuilds), 4-4-0 Americans, 4-6-0 Ten-wheelers and 4-6-2 Pacifics.
The 69 images come from 2x4 medium format negatives and photos. The time period ranges from the late 1880s to the 1950s in locations such Minneapolis, Minnesota; Peoria, Illinois and places in Iowa.
