This second volume on the New Haven's diesel locomotive fleet begins with the ALCo road-switchers, of which New Haven owned the RS1, RS2, RS3 and RS11 models, then introduces the Fairbanks-Morse H16-44, both the passenger and freight series units. Also featured are the only EMD road-switchers on the pike: 30 dual-purpose GP9s. Rounding out the motive power is a detailed look at the second-generation purchases of ALCo C-425s and GE U25Bs.
