The B&W photography and commentary of Dick Loane of Summit, NJ is both charming and informative. Dick frequented the almost weekly rail excursions offered at the time and traveled with some of the well-known photographers of the day like Bob Collins.
Volume 1 photographs are mostly hometown Delaware Lackawanna & Western but includes Lehigh & Hudson River and a quick look at the former Rahway Valley Railroad.
