In Railfanning the Reading Volume 2, you will see Steam and Diesel freight and passenger operations from the late 1940s to the early 1970s.
Beginning on the eastern end of the system in New Jersey, we proceed our way west into Pennsylvania. We'll tour the main line through the southeast and then head into the coal regions of the Keystone State. Returning to the Lehigh Valley, we'll view joint operations with the Central New Jersey and then head down the East Penn Branch.
Along with regular steam and diesel operations, we'll look at some of the Reading's Iron Horse Rambles along the way.
