At the eastern end of the New Haven Railroad was Boston. However, this was not always the case. The acquisition of the Old Colony and Boston & Providence forged the final link in the New Haven's famous Shore Line Route main line between New York and Boston.
This book is based on the collection of photographs owned by Robert A. Liljestrand. Text and captions were written by Marc Frattasio.
