This title continues the history of the commuter road's vast fleet of Multiple Unit (MU) cars, beginning in 1953 with 20 cars purchased by William Wyer, the railroad's trustee. It then features the Pullman-Standard car fleets of 1955 and 1963 as well as cars purchased by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority starting in 1968, first with the M1 fleet of Metropolitans, then M3's, M7's and finally the M9's of 2020.
Also covered are the railroad's two sets of gas turbine/electrics and Budd Rail Diesel Cars (RDC's).
