The first in a series of titles covering railroad operations around Port Jervis, New York, this book will cover the earliest years of the Erie Railroad's predecessors in the region in the 1850s through its merger into the Erie Lackawanna in 1960. This book is illustrated with never-before-seen black and white and color photography, as well as a variety of historic maps and track plans.
This book is being released to coincide with the opening of the Port Jervis Transportation Festival. All author royalties from the sale of this book series are being donated to the Port Jervis Transportation History Center.
